About #

The support library lets you select, edit, and manage presets for your supports.

The goal is to offer maximum flexibility and speed in your support process.
Once you have tweaked a profile, save it and reuse it at any time.

You now have 6 slots to quickly access your favorite profiles and even more in the menu.

Usage constraints #

  • The classic Light, Medium, and Heavy presets can’t be renamed or deleted. You can edit the values and override them as usual.
  • The three presets under Light, Medium and heavy can be fully customized.
  • When you select a preset, it will automatically apply the preset to your support selection. Be careful if you tweak settings with an active selection.
Especially when you have just created a new support, as it will be automatically selected.

Usage #

The Support Preset is located under the Support Parameters when the Support Tool is selected in the Prepare Workspace.

The gear icon opens the options menu and the Preset Library.

Apply a preset to a support selection
#

This tool is sensitive to support selection.

  • The active preset (highlighted in blue) will be applied to the support you select.
  • To speed up your workflow, you can use the shortcut Ctrl + 1-6 to assign one of the 6 Active Presets available.
  • It will be automatically applied to the support you will create.
  • When you select supports, the support preset will change if the selection uses another preset.
  • When you have a support selection and multiple presets are close to the support parameters selected, multiple presets will be highlighted in blue in the UI.
It simply shows you the preset duplicates you may have.
