Available in Free, Pro, and Premium editions of Lychee Slicer
The Auto Save will periodically save your current scene into a .LYT file once you have saved your project at least once.
It will let you recover your work if, for any reason, you need to reopen an older save state or after a crash.
Usage:
You must save your scene in a LYS/LYT file at least once, the Auto Save file will be placed in a folder named after your current scene name.
The Auto Save file name is based on the original name followed by the time of the recording.
The interval between each auto-save is defined in your preference, available in File > Preferences > Auto Save

Notes:
- The LYT file is light and contains only the support data, not the original 3D model.
- If the original file (STL, OBJ, 3MF, LYS) is missing on your computer, if it has been moved or renamed, the slicer will ask for the files when you open the LYT. Or you can point to the file in the Layout workspace.
