In Lychee Slicer, you have multiple ways to move in the 3d view.
This article will give you all the shortcuts and tips to move faster and more efficiently in the Slicer.
Usage constraints #
- Depending on the hardware used, you will have to adapt how you move the camera in the 3d view.
- You can’t remap the way you move in the scene.
Usage #
Keyboard and 3 buttons mouse:
PC & Linux:
- Rotate with Right Click & drag.
- Pan with Alt + Right Click & drag or Middle Click & Drag
- Zoom with Ctrl + Right Click & drag or the mouse wheel
MacOs:
- Rotate with Right Click & drag.
- Pan with Cmd+ Right Click & drag or Middle Click & Drag
- Zoom with Ctrl + Right Click & drag or the mouse wheel
Multitouch Trackpad:
You can switch it on/off in the preferences > 3D Navigation > Use Multi-Touch Gesture. Depending on your OS version and hardware, the gestures may vary.
3D mouse:
- You can turn it on/off and edit its behavior in the preferences > 3D Mouse
- Make sure you have installed the latest version of the driver/application provided by 3D Connexion (Edit the navigation settings in Lychee Slicer directly, not in the 3D mouse software, they will be ignored)
Additional tips & tricks #
- Press F to focus on a 3d model under the cursor, and you will rotate around it.
- A Double tap on the Middle Click button will focus on the selected model or the scene if nothing is selected, you will be able to rotate around it.
